Description: Due to a lack of consistency on Agency-developed maps showing Indian Health Service (IHS) Area boundaries, the IHS Office of Public Health has On some IHS maps, Texas is included in the Oklahoma City Area IHS, whereas on other IHS maps Texas is in the Nashville Area IHS. This lack of consistent representation of IHS Area boundaries on maps causes confusion among IHS staff and other stakeholders.
